Quick start

  1. Install ImageTwinFinder and launch the application.
  2. Select the folder or supported drive you want to scan.
  3. Select file types available in your edition.
  4. Choose a batch size permitted by your plan.
  5. Run the scan and review duplicate groups before cleanup.
  6. Use Recycle Bin cleanup whenever possible.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Free edition include?

The Free edition is a 30-day trial focused on document duplicate scanning, with a maximum batch size of 20,000 items.

Can Pro scan images?

No. Pro includes documents and videos. Image scanning and similar/resized/rotated-image detection are Business features.

Can ImageTwinFinder scan USB drives?

Yes. The trial can scan one removable USB drive by itself. Pro and Business add PC-to-USB and USB-to-USB comparison plus automatic removable-drive detection.

What is Backup Verification?

A read-only comparison that reports identical, missing, changed and extra files between a source and backup folder.

Does ZIP scanning extract the whole archive?

No. Business archive scanning is designed to process supported ZIP contents without fully extracting the archive to disk.

How does Junk Cleaner handle files in use?

Locked/live files are skipped. Active browser profile databases such as Web Data, Cookies and History are excluded from cleanup attempts.

Does ImageTwinFinder delete files automatically?

No. The application is designed around review-first cleanup. Recycle Bin is the recommended removal method.

Are Pro and Business subscriptions?

No. Pro and Business are sold as one-time lifetime licenses under the published license terms.

Where do I install ImageTwinFinder?

ImageTwinFinder is distributed through Microsoft Store. Open the Store listing.

How do Pro and Business activation work?

Complete the PayPal purchase from the Pricing page. After PayPal confirms payment, your license is generated automatically and emailed to the purchase email. In ImageTwinFinder, open Help → Activate License and enter that email and license key.
